Iwrotethis introduction from our sister school British International SchoolGuangzhou where I wasmeeting with all of the Nord Anglia China international school Principals on last Friday. I had a rich dialogue with my fellow school leaders when we have the opportunity to collaborate over key topics and share best practices. In addition we have planned and discussed the impact of the many opportunities provided for our students through the regional events we run. Over the next few months, our students will participate in theNord Anglia Academic Olympiad,Performing Arts Festival, and I know Year3 families are very excited to take part in the campoutExpeditionat our sister school in Nanjing.

Lastweek our senior sports teams also showcased our recent collaboration with New Balanceand unveiled theirnew team kits.Feedback from students has been incredibly positive and we look forward to unveiling more kits as the different sports seasons progress.

Last Friday, students in Secondary participated inJeans for GenesDay.To support their learning, as well as raise additional funds for the charity, students baked cell cakes. An impressive 6,257 RMBwas raised overall. This charity initiative was a great opportunity to grow awareness of genetic conditions amongstour students.
And finally, ourWelcome Back Picnic had to be cancelleddue to strong wind and rainon Saturday. The Parent Community Association is already preparing other exciting events with the school when, I am sure, we will have the opportunity to spend a wonderful time together as a community.
